Know Fundry's role before you proceed
Fundry provides a platform for preparing opportunities and progressing introductions. It is important to distinguish the platform from the lender providing any proposed finance.
At a glance
- Fundry is not the lender.
- Fundry works with a selected lender network, not the whole market.
- Each lender makes its own assessment and sets its own terms.
- A request or introduction does not guarantee a funding offer.
Ask for the position that applies before proceeding
Details of any borrower charges or lender-paid remuneration are not currently published as standard figures on this website.
Contact hello@fundry.co.uk for the current written position before using the service or agreeing to an introduction. If a separate written commercial agreement applies, review it carefully.
Platform, lender and borrower responsibilities
Fundry
Provides the workflow used to organise funding information, present opportunities and progress controlled introductions.
The lender
Applies its own criteria and due diligence, decides whether to offer funding and sets the price, security, conditions and contractual terms.
The business
Provides accurate information, considers whether an offer meets its needs and obtains independent professional advice where appropriate.
Lender coverage
Fundry connects opportunities with a selected network of lenders. It does not claim to compare every lender or every product available in the market, and a lender outside the network may offer a different option.
Funding costs
Any lender proposal should clearly identify interest or finance charges, arrangement and other fees, repayment obligations, security, guarantees and material conditions. Compare the total commercial effect rather than relying only on a headline rate.
Questions worth answering in writing
- What is the total amount repayable and which fees can change?
- What security, debenture, asset charge or personal guarantee is required?
- Can the facility be repaid early, renewed, reduced or withdrawn?
- What happens if a payment, covenant or information requirement is missed?
- Does Fundry receive any fee or remuneration connected with this introduction?
